Third-Party Breaches – Can’t Stop Won’t Stop

Rachel Weiss will be presenting at the HIPAA Cow 2024 Fall Conference on November 15. Her presentation titled, "Third-Party Breaches – Can’t Stop Won’t Stop," will discuss real world examples of third party breaches, how to mitigate risk in contracting, what to expect over the course of a third party investigation and resulting notification and potential regulatory investigation. It will offer perspectives from both the vendor and covered entity viewpoints to better equip all stakeholders to understand rationales and reasonable approaches to these difficult (and increasingly more frequent) situations.
