As part of the American Health Lawyers Association (AHLA) Long Term Care and the Law Conference, Randall Fearnow, Chair of the Quarles & Brady Long Term Care Practice Group, presented on the topic of The Use of Medical and Recreational Cannabis in Skilled Nursing, Hospice, and Assisted Living.
This conference worked to provide information to attendees on the regulatory issues affecting the delivery of care by post-acute and long term care providers. In addition, attendees learned practical information to increase operational effectiveness of long term care facilities, as well as increased their knowledge of the challenges and risks for post-acute and long term care providers.
