MTERA 2022 Virtual Conference
The Midwest Tribal Energy Resources Association (MTERA), with support from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), will be hosting a three-day virtual conference. Hear from Tribal leaders, federal and state agencies, educators, and energy industry experts as they discuss successful Tribal energy projects, state and federal energy policy, strategic energy planning to help Tribes advance beneficial energy initiatives, and how to build resilient communities.
Quarles & Brady partner Pilar Thomas will be a kickoff keynote speaker (March 29, 10am Central), sharing a high level overview of upcoming opportunities for Tribes in energy and why it's important to have Tribal voices at the table and informed people acting as Energy Champions within and for Tribal communities. Pilar will also participate as a panelist on Federal Funding ( March 29, 10:40am Central).
