Labor Considerations for Non-Unionized and Unionized Employers in the COVID-19 Crisis
Program Overview:
The COVID-19 crisis has created a prime opportunity for union organizing efforts. For the first time in years, reports of unionizing activities have increased and unions are trying to capture the momentum to regain their presence within the U.S. workforce.
This presentation covered strategies non-unionized employers could utilize to avoid/defeat organizing efforts. We also addressed other labor-related issues for employers, including challenges for unionized employers as they try to operate under collective bargaining agreements amid the new realities caused by COVID-19.
