Our Indiana Corporate Counsel and Ethics seminar will address two important issues relevant to corporate counsel:
Corporate Counsel Compensation in 2016: An interactive discussion about trends, issues, and opportunities affecting corporate counsel compensation in 2016, featuring:
- René King, a senior consultant in the Executive Compensation Practice of Towers Watson's Chicago office. He advises management and boards of directors on issues related to executive, equity, and incentive compensation, as well as the alignment of pay with performance.
- Michael Sachs, a partner in the Chicago office of Major, Lindsey & Africa. He specializes in placing attorneys at all levels, from junior counsel to general counsel, in corporate legal departments in a wide range of industries and locations.
Successfully Navigating the Ethical Challenges Facing General Counsel: A moderated panel of general counsel will discuss common ethical pitfalls that general counsel may face as they seek to navigate ethical issues and comply with the Indiana Rules of Professional Conduct. Participants include:
- Wes Zirkle, executive vice president and general counsel at Just Marketing International. Wes is an expert in the field of motorsport law and has negotiated hundreds of millions of dollars in sponsorship across NASCAR, Formula One, INDYCAR, NHRA, United Sports Car Championship, The World Rally Championship, and other major motorsport series.
- Lea Ann King, general counsel for Toyota Materials Handling, U.S.A., Inc. based in Columbus, Indiana. Lea Ann leads TMHU's legal department. TMHU is supplier of the No. 1 selling lift truck brand in North America.
Lucy Dollens and Joel Tragesser, partners at Quarles & Brady, will moderate the panel discussions.

This seminar is designed for in-house counsel. Quarles & Brady reserves the right to limit or restrict attendance to the program.
Two hours of continuing legal education credit in Indiana are pending.
