Building a Strategic Offense to Defend Against Future OIG Enforcement Priorities

Webinar
Webinar Only
 | 12:00 pm - 01:00 pm

Program Overview: The daily headlines tell the grim story of the OIG extracting massive penalties and settlements from health care providers in its war against fraud. As they say, the best defense against OIG scrutiny is a good offense. This webinar will anticipate the OIG's future enforcement priorities by exploring key provisions of its March 2015 Compendium of Unimplemented Recommendations to Congress. Areas to be covered include payment and billing policies and practices, quality of care and safety measures, emergency preparedness, HIT, and the ACA. Any person who bills or receives payment for health care services from HHS should attend this program to begin preparing its offensive strategy against future enforcement.

Time: 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. CT

Who Should Attend: This webinar is designed for in-house counsel, human resources and health care professionals, and other interested corporate executives.

We will apply for 1.0 hour of continuing legal education credit in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Virginia, and Wisconsin. We will issue a Certificate of Attendance to Arizona attendees as the State Bar of Arizona does not approve or accredit CLE activities for the Mandatory Continuing Legal Education requirement.

If you are member of another jurisdiction that does not honor CLE credit from AZ, FL, IL, IN, VA, or WI, we will be happy to provide the materials needed in order for you to apply for CLE credit. Please contact Donna Key, our CLE coordinator, at donna.key@quarles.com.
