17 E Monroe St, Chicago, IL 60603
The Details:
Quarles & Brady's Annual Pharmacy Law Symposium will be hosted in-person for the first time since 2019. When hosted in-person in past years, this event has quickly and consistently reached registration capacity. This year, we look forward to bringing together more than 150 industry leaders to discuss the latest developments in this dynamic area of law. The agenda can be found below and will be updated regularly.
Our General Session topics include:
- Hot Topics in Pharmacy Law
- Government Investigations: A Former Insider's View
- Constitutional Challenges to Pharmacy Statutes and Regulations
- State Board of Pharmacy Panel
We'll once again offer Breakout Sessions focusing on more targeted topics, including central fill & shared services, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), 340B, technology & telepharmacy, licensing, and rule changes.
Please be sure to join us at our Wednesday evening Welcome Reception on July 13, 2022 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Palmer House Hilton.
The program is free to attend. Please register by Friday, June 17.
Who Should Attend?
General counsel and in-house counsel for national and regional chain pharmacies, mail order pharmacies, and specialty pharmacies as well as anyone involved in operations, compliance, or other relevant roles related to these organizations.
Accommodations
The Pharmacy Law Symposium will take place at the Palmer House Hilton where we have arranged a room block at a group rate. We expect the room block to reach capacity and recommend booking early to take advantage of the group rate. Please reach out to Alexa Curto at 202.372.9603 or alexa.curto@quarles.com if you would like the link to our hotel block. Attendees are also welcome to book offsite at their preferred Chicago hotels.
CLE
After the course, Quarles & Brady will apply for continuing legal education credit in U.S. jurisdictions where applicable. Participants seeking CLE credit must complete an attendance verification form.
The Impact of COVID-19 on Continuing Legal Education
Please note, to best comply with safety recommendations regarding COVID-19, many state bar offices are closed or operating with reduced staffing. This is anticipated to cause significant delays in approval for CLE accreditation. The processing time for course approval is expected to take between 2-16 weeks after the course.
COVID-19 Protocols
Palmer House Hilton is following the latest COVID-19 guidance for the City of Chicago. As of July 7, 2022, there are no vaccination or mask requirements to attend Quarles & Brady's Pharmacy Law Symposium. We will update all registrants with any changes.
