Our Real Estate Practice Group is proud of the breadth of its representative experience and deep property-specific market knowledge. We regularly prepare, review and negotiate all types of sophisticated office, retail, restaurant, industrial, warehouse, flex-space and data center leases, as well as ground leases, build-to-suit leases and sale leaseback transactions. We also are actively involved in the leasing and licensing of airport properties and facilities on behalf of several municipalities and air carriers, as well as the leasing of gas station and convenience stores. We regularly help our clients with rooftop antenna agreements, telecommunications license agreements, temporary space agreements, parking agreements, indemnity agreements, sublease and assignment documents, landlord consents, non-disturbance and subordination agreements, guarantees, letters of credit and construction agreements.
Successes
- Representation of the owner-landlord in connection with its leasing of a Class-A mixed use property (office and retail) located in downtown Phoenix containing approximately 600,000 square feet of space.
- Representation of a client in a series of sale-leaseback transactions creating a portfolio totaling over $800 million in assets, consisting of industrial, manufacturing, restaurants, distribution and entertainment uses.
- Representation of a tenant in negotiation of lease and work letter for over 600,000 square feet of new office space.
- Representation of a significant institutional real estate investor in connection with the retail leasing and management of a 500,000 square foot shopping center in the southeastern U.S., which includes over 70 retail tenants.
